Description
Admitted Student Tours are for admitted students and focus on a variety of colleges across UVU. This is your chance to tour the area you're most passionate about, all in an interactive and informative setting. Whether you're discovering your future classroom or learning about key resources, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students while gaining valuable insights into life at UVU.

In addition to your tour, each date features a specialty event hosted by the UVU Admissions Office, giving you even more opportunities to connect and learn about available resources.
February 20 – Hot Chocolate with Housing: Enjoy hot chocolate while meeting with the Housing team to learn about housing options, resources, and tips for finding housing near UVU.
March 20 – Cookies with Kyle: Enjoy cookies and conversation with Kyle, UVU’s Student Body President. Hear firsthand about student life, leadership, and what makes the UVU community unique.
April 10 – Lunch with Admissions Counselors: Join UVU Admissions Counselors for lunch and get answers to your questions about academics, applications, and next steps in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
*Please note: Programs in EMS, Firefighting, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Culinary Arts, Respiratory, Police Academy, OTA, PTA and PA and Aviation are located off-campus and will not be included in the department tours.

- What are department tours?
Department tours provide admitted students with an in-depth look at a specific academic program. These tours are led by faculty, staff, or student ambassadors and showcase program facilities, curriculum, and opportunities within the department.
- Where do I park?
We encourage you to park in our admissions pay lots in the passport parking stalls that can be found out front. (You can search UVU Admissions Meter Lot in Apple Maps or **"B" in Google Maps.)
Or you may park in our Parking Garage. (You can search UVU Parking Garage in Apple Maps or **UVU Parking Garage in Google Maps.)
Please bring the following information to check-in so that we can validate your parking: License Plate Number and State. (If this lot is full, please feel free to use any available parking space. In the unlikely event that you receive a parking ticket, please let us know, and we will arrange to have it waived.)
- How do I sign up for a department tour?
You can sign up for a department tour through our campus visit website. If the department you're interested in isn’t listed, email JTorio@uvu.edu to inquire about availability.
- When are department tours available?
Admitted Student Tours are scheduled on February 20th, March 20th, and April 10th, 2026
- How long do department tours last?
The walking tour will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on the department you tour, including a brief presentation overview and a comprehensive look at an academic department.
- What will I see on a department tour?
You’ll visit classrooms, labs, and other department-specific facilities. You may also meet faculty, current students, or advisors who can answer questions about the program.
- Can I bring family or friends to a department tour?
Yes! Family and friends are welcome to join the tour and learn more about the program.
- Are there specific tours for hands-on programs like Aviation, Nursing, or Culinary Arts?
Yes! Some programs, especially those with specialized facilities, offer unique tours showcasing labs, kitchens, or flight simulators. These programs are located off-campus, so you will need to reach out to their tour coordinators directly to schedule a visit.
- Where do I meet?
Doterra Auditorium in the Science Building on UVU's main campus. (SB 134)
