We are excited to show you around our beautiful campus!
Our knowledgeable student Ambassadors are here for you. You'll get a 1 hour and 30-minute general walking tour of our unique indoor campus. Our Ambassadors are here to answer any questions and provide guidance as you prepare to make one of the most important decisions of your life! We validate/cover parking for all campus tours—just come prepared with your license plate number, and we’ll handle the rest when you check in!
Questions & Answers
Once a tour is full, it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate additional guests. However, you are welcome to reach out to Makayla Mitchell at makayla.mitchell@uvu.edu or call 801-863-4614 to see if arrangements can be made.
Please refer to your confirmation email for parking instructions. We encourage you to park in our admissions pay lots in the passport parking stalls, which can be found at this location or this location.
You can also search "Admissions Pay Lot" on Apple Maps or "B" on Google Maps.
Upon check-in, please provide your license plate number, make, and model, and we will validate your parking.
The walking tour will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, including a brief presentation overview and a comprehensive look at our campus and facilities.
Yes, all of our tours are walking tours. If anyone in your group requires (ADA) accommodations, such as wheelchair assistance, , or other support, please contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
For most of the tour, you will be inside, as our campus buildings are interconnected. However, depending on the weather, your tour guide may take brief outdoor shortcuts.

If you are unable to attend a guided tour, we also offer self-guided tours at any time that fits your schedule. Our office is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and we are happy to provide materials and answer any questions.
Your tour will cover most of the main campus and include key academic buildings, student spaces, and campus landmarks.
If there is a specific department or building you would like to see, let your tour guide know—we may be able to accommodate additional stops after the tour.
Please note: Some programs are located off-campus and will not be included in the tour, including:
Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Firefighting, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Culinary Arts, Respiratory Therapy, Police Academy, Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Physician Assistant (PA), and Aviation.
You are welcome to bring as many guests as they would like on the tour. (Up to but no more than 8)
If you or anyone in your group requires special accommodations, please contact us in advance. We can assist with wheelchair access, ASL interpreters, alternative routes, and other accommodations to ensure an inclusive experience.
Yes! If you are bringing a larger group, we ask that you fill out a Group Tour Request Form [here] so we can provide the best experience possible.
Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may need to reschedule or take a self-guided tour instead.
Your tour does not include a meeting with an academic advisor. However, if you would like to speak with an advisor from your intended major, we can help connect you with the department to schedule a separate appointment or you can schedule an advising appointment here.
Yes! We offer Admitted Pathways: Department Tours, where you can visit specific academic departments. Check our [Department Tours page] or reach out to us for more details.
Yes! UVU has several dining options, including a food court, cafes, and grab-and-go spots. If you're looking for recommendations, you can check out our dining services website or our ambassadors can point you in the right direction.
Yes! If we have Spanish-speaking tour guides available. If you need a tour in another language, please contact us ahead of time, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Additionally, on the second Wednesday evening of each month, we offer a Spanish language tour, which includes dinner and an informational presentation in Spanish.
Yes! Parents, family members, and other supporters are welcome to attend tours even if the prospective student is not present.
Our daily tours are open to all prospective students and their guests. If none of our scheduled tour times work for you, reach out to Makayla Mitchell at makayla.mitchell@uvu.edu, and we will try to accommodate a different time based on tour guide availability.
